Facial masks once a week, a good astringent for excess oil, use an exfoliating facial scrub in the shower

Don’t scrape them off with a steak knife, as Bob Sagot has suggested…

If you’re looking for an instant remedy, I can’t help you there, but there are ways to remedy acne within a few days as well as prevent getting more.

1. Drink lots of water. Water helps flush out dirt in your system and generally can help purify your blood stream/ skin.

2. Try to avoid washing your face with body soaps. Body soaps are good for general cleaning and they have a pleasing aroma, but they have some harmful/irritating qualities that can lead to acne.
Instead, use soaps like Clearasil to help treat acne. Stridex Pads can also help. And also, make sure to use warm water. Warm water opens up the pores and allows your skin to breathe.

3. Eat more green vegetables. Cucumbers in particular are very helpful in clearing up skin. Green Tea is also known for having a very high antioxidant level.

4. Try not to touch your face with your hands. Your hands are one of the dirtiest parts of your body, despite how much you wash them. It will always get more dirt in your skin.

5. If you have long hair, try to keep it out of your face. Your hair has many oils in it, and when it touches your skin, it can cause the oil/grease to drip down and cause acne.

That’s all I can think of at the moment, and again DO NOT try to scratch/cut/rip them off by force. This will lead to scarring. No matter how tempting it is, try to be patient with it.

Exfoliate.
Facial cleansers
Toner
Oil-free moisturizers
You can try using acne fighting products but they make the acne worse before making it better. Stupid me tried Oxy a week before my cousin’s wedding and I had a pimply, irritated chin because I wanted to see if it would help clear up (faster) an already healing pimple.
So yeah. I suggest going to see a dermatologist or your doctor if you have really bad acne.
Just make sure you keep your face clean. Toner reduces oil, which will help reduce pimples. Eat healthy foods, avoid fatty foods, especially if they’re high in oil. If you’ve done physical activity and are sweaty, wash your face.

Keeping your skin clean (Showering every day, and scraping, or as my mom would say, WASHING your face with a wash cloth, and soap)

Once you’ve scraped all the soap over, then let it sit for about 5 seconds, then rinse.

Keep your hair out of your face, and make sure your hair is also not oily.

Try to re-frame from putting any medicines on your face, and if your going to sweat, then take a washcloth or something to wipe off the sweat, or wear a headband.

The reason headbands help, is because the pours that are most active in sweating is on your forehead, thus, keeping most of the sweat out of your face.

Also, try to re-frame from touching your face to much with your hands if their dirty, you’ll get blackheads AND pimples. (Eww)

If you do get a pimple, then pop it, and if your going to do this with a needle, wash it off first. Also, if your going to POP it, then put a warm washcloth over it for about 5-10 minutes. Then pop it. This helps relieve some pain as it softens it.

Hope this helped! ^^

everyone says horrible things about this, but. . .

squeeze the living daylights out of them!!!!

seriously, after you take a shower (right after when the skin is soft), look in the mirror and use ur nails to dig up some skin and squeeze. zits pop and you need to put some ointment on those, and blackheads totally just. . .clear up. usually you’ll have a cut for a few days, but if you do it on a friday and use coverup, by school on monday you’ll look fine.

this isn’t the healthiest way to do it, but its the fastest.
