hmmm….? asked:

I sometimes get kind of like nodule pimples- hard bumps that are very painful. They don’t really develop a head but are more of a small bump that is painful and pink. Unlike the average pimple it takes up to 2-3 weeks and sometimes longer to get rid of them. Does anyone know what I’m talking about/ know how to fix this?

Ugh these sound almost like cysts. I’d have to look at them, though. I’d try using a combination of ice packs and benzol peroxide. First, gently wash your face and pat dry. Spread a thick layer of benzol peroxide ointment on the entire area affected. If you chill the bottle first that’s better. Place an ice pack over the inflamed area for 10 minutes but no longer. The ice will calm down the inflammation enough for the benzol peroxide to enter the pores and kill the bacteria that is making your skin go crazy.

Don’t expect this to work over night. I would be looking for results in 3 days or 4, then continue treatment to prevent new ones from coming back.

yes i know what you mean. i get them a lot too. you just can’t touch them or else they get irriated and more red. before you go to bed lie with a hot compress on them.they will look red but the swelling should go away by morning. i also heard putting vasaline on them and covering them with a band aid helps too. when you wake up they won’t look as large. in days they will go away. in the meantime put some makeup to cover the pinkness. best of luck! :)
